Annya Sand Art Exhibition at Russian Art Fair, London |
The first Russian Art Fair was held in the stunning ballroom of the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel.
The Fair had been carefully timed to take advantage of the overwhelming interest in Russian Art during the first week of June 2009, when the prime auction houses of Sotheby's, Christie's, Bonhams and McDougall's all held major sales of Russian Art.
Annya Sand exhibited her latest works alongside 20th Century artists such as Natalia Goncharova, El Lissitzky and Petr Konchalovsky.
The Fair opened with a champagne charity gala in aid of The Children's Fire & Burn Trust incorporating Friends of Russian Children (Patron: HRH Prince Michael of Kent GCVO). The event was attended by their Highnesses Prince & Princess Lobanov Rostovsky and other high-profile members of London's Russian community.
